My Cancer Club was created by a survivor, for survivors. This site is personal, heartfelt, and built to become a true lifeline for people affected by cancer. Your support helps keep it going and growing.
From the Founder:
When I was battling cancer, I received more chemotherapy than most people ever will and along with it, side effects that changed my body, career, and life.
I created My Cancer Club not because I had answers, but because I knew what it felt like to face cancer alone, to be turned away from support, and to feel invisible while fighting for your life.
This site is my way of making sure no one else feels that way again.
I want My Cancer Club to become a full-time mission: writing helpful blogs, gathering resources, answering questions, hosting stories, and God willing, eventually providing financial aid to others in treatment that I never got.
Like myself, many cancer victims are going to have to endure long battles. Battles that will cost them everything. Defeating cancer without doubt is a great victory, but when it leaves your life totally devastated, it feels like a new battle is just begun. I can’t begin to tell you how broken someone can feel at that point. My hope for this site, and through your help, is to be there for someone who’s life was shattered by this horrible disease and help them pick up the pieces again, even if it’s a little at a time.
Your donation not only helps cover the cost of maintaining the site, but to help sponsor cancer events and patients everywhere. It also allows us to keep showing up for the thousands of people who are going to need this space.
This site will always be 100% free to all cancer patients, survivors, and supporters. We do not now, nor will we ever, charge anyone to be a part of this community. We will never harass or pressure anyone to give. But if this site has helped you, or you believe in the mission, your support means everything.
